Offered by the Macarthur Centre for Sustainable Living, this course teaches you the skills required to be a great barista with a twist. As well as learning all about making great coffee, you will learn how to do it in an environmentally friendly way, so that we can all enjoy coffee for many years to come!
You will be assessed by trainers with the relevant qualifications in accordance with the Australian Qualifications Skills Authority (ASQA). This assessment will take the form of direct observation of practical tasks and written questioning which will take place throughout the day.
|Entry Requirements: |
You must be 14 years old or more to participate in this course. On completion of this course you will be awarded a nationally recognised Statement of Attainment. This qualification provides a pathway to work in cafes and coffee shops, or to further study in the Certificate III of Hospitality.

No occupational licensing, certification or specific legislative requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.
|Equipment and Materials: |
You should wear enclosed leather shoes and bring a pen.
|Mode of Delivery: |
This course is delivered face-to-face at the Macarthur Centre for Sustainable Living. Class sizes are kept small to give you the maximum time possible practicing to make great coffee.
