Travel Agents’ Computer Reservations Systems (CRS) are also known as GDS (Global Distribution System). They are used for booking a range of travel products and services. This interactive course turns your PC or MAC into a simulated GDS, and you will learn how to check for product availability (airline seats, hotel rooms and car rental vehicles). You will learn to encode and decode the world's airports, cities, aircraft, airlines and more. You will also learn to check for availability of airline seats, hotel rooms and car rental vehicles, build full reservations, then retrieve them, amend them and cancel them. Next you will learn to quote airfares, read and interpret airfare rules, issue e-tickets for clients and a host of other formats and procedures.

There are no formal entry requirements to enrol in this course however keyboard skills are necessary for employemnt in the travel industry. A good level of English will also help.
