This course will introduce you to the industry and give you a taste of the training required, as well as highlight the career opportunities ahead.


Macarthur Tourism, Travel & Events College (MTTEC) is running this bespoke tourism and events course. It will give you a taste of what the industry is like, as well as provide you with an understanding of what local tourism and events opportunities are in the area.

This is an online self-paced course. You should allow 10 hours per week over 4 weeks to complete all training and assessment.

Entry Requirements

This is an entry level course. You may enrol with limited or no experience in the tourism or events industry. Upon completion of this course you could continue studying at a Certificate III or Diploma level in Tourism or Events.

Qualification Requirements

No occupational licensing, certification or specific legislative requirements apply to this qualification at the time of publication.

Assessment Requirements

Our interactive e-learning platform will enable you to learn skills and gain knowledge on the industry and the processes undertaken by professionals on a day-to-day basis.

If you have not completed Year 12, or if you come from a non-English speaking background, please complete our short 'Language, Literacy and Numeracy' assessment by clicking on the link below.
