Macarthur Tourism, Travel and Events College (MTTEC) is a nationally Registered Training Organisation (RTO # 41365) under the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). ASQA is the national regulator for Australia’s Vocational Education and Training (VET) sector. ASQA regulates courses and RTOs to ensure nationally approved quality standards are met. MTTEC also complies with all relevant Commonwealth and State licensing, legislative and regulatory requirements relevant to its operations and its scope of registration. We follow the standards outlined in the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). The AQF is the national policy for regulating qualifications in Australian education and training.
MTTEC was established in December 2015 and is committed to excellence through innovation and continuous improvement of our products, services, and outcomes for students wishing to enter the exciting Tourism, Hospitality and Events sector, or those wanting to further their career and qualifications in this ever changing industry.
We're focused on servicing a growing need for flexible training in the Macarthur area in the tourism, travel, hospitality and events sector. By networking and fostering strong industry partnerships, students will experience workplace learning combined with online theory study. We are committed to flexibility because not everyone learns in the same way. Students can access email, phone or skype support and we are able to customise individual learning plans for students with diverse needs.
