About Us

Macarthur Tourism, Travel and Events College (MTTEC) commenced operations in December 2015, offering online tourism and events courses. Since then, we have expanded to include several hospitality courses and face-to-face barista courses. They focus on hands on skills, and recognition of prior learning through on the job training. We're all about innovation, industry engagement, and continuous improvement. Our courses are designed for school leavers or those wishing to enter the exciting tourism, hospitality and events industry. They are also suitable for existing workers wanting to further their career and qualifications in this dynamic industry.

 

MTTEC is a nationally Registered Training Organisation (RTO # 41365) with the training regulator, the Australian Skills Quality Authority (ASQA). We also follow the standards outlined in the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF). The AQF is the national policy for regulating qualifications in Australian education and training.

We focus on servicing a growing need for flexible training in the Macarthur area in the tourism, travel, hospitality and events sector. As a result, by networking and fostering strong industry partnerships, students will experience workplace learning combined with online theory study. Not everyone learns the same way, therefore our online tourism and events courses are flexible. Students can access email, phone or zoom support and we customise individual learning plans for students with diverse needs.
