Purpose

This course provides learners with the skills and knowledge required to perform tourism and travel operations and effectively communicate with, and provide service to customers.

- reservation sales agent for a tour operator
- sales consultant
- senior ride operator in an attraction or theme park
- visitor information officer

Duration

The program is designed to be completed within 18 months; however, the online component is self-paced and flexible.

Entry Requirements

This is an entry level qualification. You may enrol into this qualification with limited or no experience in the tourism industry, and without a lower level qualification.

Assessment Requirements

The assessment is conducted using a combination of realistic workplace tasks, projects, online knowledge tests and response to case studies.
